Beschrijving
English: Drawing of fossil and life restoration of the enatiornith bird Eoalulavis hoyasi.
  • The fossil drawing is based on photos of the main slab and counter slab of the holotype fossil (LH 13500), published in the original description of Eoalulavis.[1]
  • The life restoration is mostly speculation, inspired by modern orders and families of birds living and feeding near water, such as Charadriiformes (the long toes, body shape), Alcedinidae (body shape)[2] and Cinclidae (body shape), as Eoalulavis are thought to have had a similar lifestyle.
