Dear Yasnodark, if you wish for an article to be translated, please state your request here. Please do not use any software-based translation services or tools, as these would produce very low-quality results and your article would be removed from the Dutch Wikipedia. Please stop editing articles on the Dutch Wikipedia, at least without the help of somebody who has a much better understandig of the language. You're butchering words and sentences with your edits and are leaving all kinds of faulty language and other mistakes on the pages. Toth (overleg) 7 apr 2016 16:01 (CEST)Reageren

Toth Sovjet-Russische translated as Soviet Russian, but Valentin Bondarenko is Soviet Ukrainian. You don`t understand, Ukraine - is not a part of Russia, the Soviet Union - is not the same thing as the Russia.-Yasnodark (overleg) 7 apr 2016 16:15 (CEST)Reageren
P.S.According to the Constitution of the Soviet Union - Ukrainian SSR - independent state in the USSR, on a par with Russia. Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic - the state-founder of United Nations in 1945, in contrast to Netherlands and Belgium.-Yasnodark (overleg) 7 apr 2016 16:26 (CEST)Reageren
I do understand that Ukraine is not part of Russia and that the Soviet Union is not the same as Russia. What you don´t understand is that you´re cutting up words and sentences in a language you don't seem to understand and thereby leave wrong words and sentences behind. You may think you're making improvements, but you're in fact transforming pieces of text into non-language. You should really get help from someone who does understand Dutch a lot better, or don't edit on Wikipediapages in this language. Toth (overleg) 7 apr 2016 16:27 (CEST)Reageren
On what basis do you delete a categories, all of these scientists are Ukrainian scientists and Soviet scientists, but only some of them have also worked in Russia, being also Russian scientists. In any case, they are classified as Soviet scientists, as well as Ukrainian scientists and some of them are in the category of Russian scientists. There are two of acceptable options: either category Soviet scientists, and at the same time, Ukrainian scientists and Russian scientists. It can not be called Ukrainian Soviet scientist as Russian scientist. Why do you not understand?.-Yasnodark (overleg) 7 apr 2016 16:45 (CEST)Reageren
There is no categorie 'Soviet scientist' (or 'Soviet astronaut' etc.) on the Dutch Wikipedia. Toth (overleg) 7 apr 2016 16:57 (CEST)Reageren
In this case, choosing between the Ukrainian astronomers (or 'Ukrainian astronauts') and Russian astronomers (or 'Russian astronauts') answer is exclusive - they are Ukrainian. In the extreme case, may be present both categories at the same time, but in no other way.-Yasnodark (overleg) 7 apr 2016 17:33 (CEST)Reageren
I'm affraid this conversation isn't leading to anything. My point was and is: you're trying to edit in a Wikipediaproject in a language don't understand. It doesn't work. Not only in your case, but in general, so you probably shouldn't. Toth (overleg) 7 apr 2016 18:11 (CEST)Reageren
My language skills enough to have to understand that you named most famouse persons of my nation as persons by our Enemy-nation. You are play with fire. Ukrainian SSR was one of 15 states of Soviet Unian, but you named Ukrainian Soviet scientists as Russian scientists. Netherlands is one of 28 states of European Union, my proposition for you - you delate category Dutch scientists, and replace it on category European scientists, and even better on German scientists, because Deutschland is prominent republic of European Union, just as was Russia is prominent republic of Soviet Unian. It should do so according to your logic. Do not lead to the absurd.-Yasnodark (overleg) 7 apr 2016 18:23 (CEST)Reageren
Please don't overreact. I'm not trying to offend you, your country, or anyone for that matter. I'm just saying your knowledge of Dutch isn't sufficient to make corrections on Dutch Wikipediapages. It causes problems on those pages if you try to do so anyway. Toth (overleg) 7 apr 2016 19:38 (CEST)Reageren

Hi, I've moved your contribution to the talkpage of our Wikiproject:Ukraine: Overleg Wikipedia:Wikiproject/Oekraïne. Ciell need me? ping me! 15 apr 2022 12:49 (CEST)Reageren

Thanks Yasnodark for the suggestions and Ciell for adding them to the project talk page! Yasnodark, I write mostly about (rock) music. A short while ago I wrote a small article about Brunettes Shoot Blondes. I had a little trouble finding sources but also to determine whether a source is reliable and notable enough to use as a source for an article. What would you say is or are good source(s) to base articles on, when writing about (rock) music? hiro the club is open 15 apr 2022 13:45 (CEST)Reageren
Hello & Thank you for responding. Here There are several sources in my language, but you are probably looking for sources in Dutch or English? Need to think about this.

As for the links and articles that needed to be translated in the first place, I would name the following:

In addition, this page has the most useful links for you:

The article group you created is of limited popularity. The most popular Ukrainian-language music videos are here:

Hello! Although it has nothing to do with Wikipedia, I really want to bring you a selection of my favorite artist Julia Sanina from the band The Hardkiss, I will start with the song Helpless, as in our selection for Eurovision 2016 took second place https://www.youtube.com/watch?v = YoLVYj0tTdA, scoring the same number of points as Jamala, who won the competition that year, but I think that any of our semifinalists https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3epb0Ip4ae4 1 & https: // www .youtube.com / watch? v = jV_uWTDilAgThen 2 could take a high place and at least 5 - to win, but The Hardkiss would no doubt take first place, as well as Jamala. By the way, many people think that our National selections are stronger than the Eurofinals.

I just want you to compare your chosen band Brunettes Shoot Blondes, which took 6th place, and my favorite band en: The Hardkiss, which shared first place. If you would like to take the time to share with me your impressions of the band's videos and songs, I would be very interested to know how impressed you are, a Benelux resident, and whether he is as cool as I think he is, because I think that he is the most underrated rock and pop band in the world.Yasnodark (overleg) 20 apr 2022 14:05 (CEST)Reageren

Those are a LOT of videos.   I'll check them out. Thanks for sharing. Whether I like them or not; I will also work on an article about them. hiro the club is open 20 apr 2022 16:27 (CEST)Reageren
Hiro Hello! I wanted to ask you if you managed to get acquainted with the video works of this rock band? And if so, what is your impression? And also you said that you are planning to write an article about him on Dutch. I wonder when "The Hardkiss" article will appear on Dutch?Yasnodark (overleg) 26 apr 2022 13:10 (CEST)Reageren
Hi Yasnodark, I watched a couple of their videos and listened to their music on Spotify. It's funny that I like one of their least popular songs (on Spotify) best, 'Як ти?'. Their music sounds very polished, while 'Як ти?' is more rough. I like that. I will write an article about them, but I have a few more that I am working on. It might take a little while. hiro the club is open 27 apr 2022 15:07 (CEST)Reageren
Hiro Hello & thanks for the answer! The fact is that the video you selected was published only this month during the war, so it is too early to talk about its popularity. That is why it is different from the previous ones, but I think there are better and perhaps tougher ones. But of course this is the most tragic. I like all the songs of the band in English and Ukrainian, but in general the highest positions are occupied by some of my favorites, at least from the official videos. For example, this song from the amateur concert video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K65YTYSlRBM The HARDKISS - Altair (live on ColdAltair 16.05.15), I like it no less than Make-Up, 7 вітрів or Журавлi, Stones, Кораблi.

I wonder if you have translated subtitles on YouTube to understand the content? I wonder which videos you liked less than that, so I understand what you were comparing. I will wait for your article.Yasnodark (overleg) 28 apr 2022 12:51 (CEST)Reageren

I don't have subtitles turned on. I quickly scan lyrics websites, or run the lyrics through a translation machine, to get the gist of what a song is about. Hiro Hello! Thank you for list. I wanted you to know if you watched this year's Eurovision and how you evaluate our performance and the fact that your jury did not give the winners a single point. Because somehow it happened that for our performers the jury has been steadily underestimating the scores for the last 5 years, after we did not let a Russian woman into Kyiv who grossly violated our legislation. And in general there are doubts that the scores of individual members of the jury of individual countries are calculated correctly, because there are precedents ... In general, I do not consider these juries professional, because no one chooses them and there are often random people, and what do you think about it?Yasnodark (overleg) 16 mei 2022 13:30 (CEST)Reageren
Hi Yasnodark, I did watch Eurovision, and I have to say I enjoyed it a lot. There were some good songs and I also likes Pausini's and Mika's medleys. There is always discussion about the points. It is sad that some juries had "irregular voting patterns" but I think that they found a nice solution for it.
I wouldn't go so far as saying that the juries aren't professional because the members aren't elected. If members are not elected, they can still be professional. The Dutch jury for instance consisted of musicians, producers and an experienced host - all professionals. Why didn't they award any points to the Ukranian song? I don't know. But they made their choice and I have no reason to believe that they weren't professional. After all, there were many good songs but only 12 eligible for receiving points.
Now, of course politics will always be involved. The juries of some countries always support eachother, other juries always annoy eachother. But just look at the UK. They complained for years that they didn't get the points they deserved because of Brexit. This year however they had a good song and they scored good with the juries. This just shows that if you have a good song, politics have little to do with points. hiro the club is open 18 mei 2022 05:53 (CEST)Reageren
Hiro Hi! There have been falsifications of jury votes in many countries.[1][2][3][4][5][6] this year, including in favor of the United Kingdom. even more countries. Jury members in many countries receive tacit guidance on certain nuances of voting: who to vote for or not to vote for this year. I will not say anything about the professionalism of your jury, but in our jury there are only two people known to a wide range of Ukrainians, but one of them is a producer whose artists discredited themselves in anti-national actions, the third is a more or less famous band few people know. Two more are generally known in very narrow musical circles. On the contrary, I think that the fact that the members of the jury are not elected is a big mistake. Regarding this year's competition, he is surprised by Rasmus' low scores, and the jury's outspoken unprofessionalism is confirmed by Switzerland's high scores and Moldova's ultra-low scores.Yasnodark (overleg) 18 mei 2022 13:28 (CEST)Reageren
@Yasnodark: Yes, some juries had irregular voting patterns. I wouldn't say many juries. They counted six juries. Still six too much, but not "many" per se. The problem I see with elections for juries is that people will vote for members that they know. So you would get juries that consist of known musicians. But a musician is not necessarily a good critic, or a good judge. What I will say is that maybe they can make the formation of the juries more transparent. Explain why the members were chosen. That way, people will quickly see through bullshit and lies.
I'm not that surprised about Finland's low score. I didn't like the song that much. In fact, I liked Switzerland's song better. It wasn't as generic as Finland's and had a more powerful message. Moldova might have been a fun song, but they shouldn't have entered the contest with that song. Maybe the problem lies with the fact that Moldova didn't have a national competition, I don't know.
Anyway, people will always disagree with the juries and with eachother. Just look at how much the televotes always differ from the jury votes. hiro the club is open 19 mei 2022 08:19 (CEST)Reageren

Hi Yasnodark, how are you? I finished the article about The Hardkiss. You can find it here. I had trouble finding sources that I could properly work with and of which I could determine the notability, so I decided to just translate the English Wikipedia. I usually don't translate, since I consider it lazier yet not easier at the same time. Especially in this case translation was a tough cookie, since the romanization of the Ukrainian and Russian alphabets are different in English and in Dutch. That means that I had to translate sources from English, Ukrainian and Russian and on top of that deal with different alphabets. But I think the article turned out okay.

Stay safe. hiro the club is open 22 mei 2022 20:57 (CEST)Reageren

Hi Hiro Thank you . Last night the air alarm sounded three times, so somehow ... I'm looking for sources, how will the time be ...Yasnodark (overleg) 23 mei 2022 13:49 (CEST)Reageren
Hi Hiro While I am looking for sources, I advise you to contact Oleh Biletskyi. Write that you are a resident of the Netherlands, that you created the article The Hardkiss in Wikipedia and are looking for sources to expand and improve the article in different languages, especially Dutch, English and German, you were advised to contact him and you hope that he or Pavlo Novikov will be able to help with this, because the expansion of Ukrainian issues in the Dutch section of Wikipedia, can help the cultural development of Ukraine in these difficult times.Yasnodark (overleg) 30 mei 2022 13:50 (CEST)Reageren

I also wanted to inform you that a new Dutch-Ukrainian translator has appeared "Привіт знову" or "Hello again" & 2 & 3. Maybe with the help of this application you could add to your article from the Ukrainian Wikipedia.

In addition, I would like you to create an article about the soloist of the band Yulia Sanina.Yasnodark (overleg) 30 mei 2022 13:50 (CEST)Reageren

Thanks, but I am not on social media. I don't have an account on Facebook. In fact, I have ad blockers and a Pi-hole which won't even allow me to see anything on Facebook.   Oh, and I'm not looking to expand articles on other language Wikipedia's. I am only active here on the Dutch Wikipedia, with rarely an edit on the English Wikipedia. Thanks for the translator, that might come in handy. And I will look into an article about Yulia. hiro the club is open 30 mei 2022 19:45 (CEST)Reageren

Hello Hiro! Did you see this year's Eurovision broadcast on television, because I am very curious if in Greece the equally normal sound of the artists' performances was practically absent and gave the impression of background sound?

Because it is important for me to understand whether it is a Ukrainian or an international problem in telecasting. If of course you watched the competition on TV and not on the Internet.--Yasnodark (overleg) 10 mei 2023 14:44 (CEST)Reageren
